Here is chapter two of the comic strip I drew for Nitro Digital. More info about this project and the first chapter can be found in my previous blog entry.
I worked with Nitro Digital, a leading digital healthcare marketing agency based in London on a digital comic that was planned to be used as intro/outro sequences to help progress the story of a Facebook game they were working on with a global pharmaceutical client. Nitro Digital are big on the potential of gamification and how it can be used to attract new audiences with the health sector.
I managed to complete 4 chapters on the project before my work at the Care Quality Commission had to take priority. I'm not sure about the current status of the project and whether it will ever see the light of day, but I've been given permission from Nitro Digital to post up the artwork I completed for them. Each chapter takes the story and game play forward by a decade. Rather than having traditional pages, the artwork was produced in one extended portrait format sequence for each chapter - the idea being that the game player would scroll down the comic strip in their browser to see the story unfold. I produced the artwork on various different layers as the intention was to introduce elements of animation to some panels. Here is chapter one. I'll be posting up the remaining chapters I drew shortly. |
