I was commissioned to provide the CD artwork for her latest single 'Blue Eyes'. Jazz provided the concept and storyline which was to complement the song and video release. Jazz had a clear vision of what she wanted and I was able to help break down her ideas into a comic strip for the CD cover and interior sleeve. Here are the resulting illustrations:

I was commissioned to produce concept visuals by two contemporary theatre companies working in collaboration on an Arts Council bid to produce one of the showpiece outdoor performances to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Wales Millennium Centre.
Walk the Plank, based in Manchester, are a leading outdoor cultural arts events company with a national and international reputation - having worked on the closing ceremony of the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and the opening of Turku 2011 European Capital of Culture in Finland. I have worked on a number of concept design projects with them now. Citrus Arts are a Welsh based company that specialises in circus, street theatre, drama and dance. Together they came up with the concept of 'Inferno', a crane-hung show tracking the development of raw industry as electricity and science change processes and possibilities, resulting in the creation of a new Super-Human. They asked me to take some visual cues from Fritz Lang's 'Metropolis' which heavily influenced the concept for the final scene. As with much of my work these days, it was mostly done digitally sketching directly into a drawing program called Manga Studio 5 using a stylus and tablet PC (Microsoft Surface Pro 3). Using such a portable set up is very handy as I don't have to be studio based and I was able to work on this commission whilst travelling regularly up and down to London on the train.
Brand: Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway Television Show
Commissioning agency: ITV Creative Website: www.itv.com/saturdaynighttakeaway I was commissioned by ITV, one of the UK's main television broadcasters, to illustrate a series of three short comic strips as part of their social media campaign on Facebook and Twitter to promote the return of Ant & Dec's prime time TV show Saturday Night Takeaway. The superhero themed campaign took its inspiration from the 1960's Batman TV series and featured Ant and Dec as a dynamic duo saving Saturday night television from an erstwhile villain called 'Winter Blues'. The comic strips complemented ITV's on air and internet video promotional activities. The three strips I drew were originally scripted to run seamlessly as one story thread over successive weekends before the series returned, but with subsequent changes to the story, the third strip ended up being a separate final segment in itself. Below are the three strips stitched together into one comic page as I had originally designed. And below that, you can check out how they finally looked on the facebook and twitter feeds.
Here is chapter four, the final chapter I illustrated of a comic strip for Nitro Digital. Info about this project and the first three chapters can be found here:
